Bulbuls are short-necked slender bird with long tail, short rounded wings and elongated hooked beak. Overall the sexes are alike, although the females tend to be slightly smaller. Bulbuls are highly active and quite noisy.
The babbler is also called as Old World Songbird having a long tail, short rounded wings, and loud harsh voice. They usually lives in flock of seven or ten and generally be known at some distance by harsh mewing calls, continual chattering, squaking and chirping by all of them together.
