Owls are nocturnal birds of prey with a large broad head, having a binocular vision, binaural hearing, sharp talons and feather adapted for silent flight.
Owls hunt mostly small mammals, insects and other birds although a few species specialise in hunting fish.
NIGHTJAR
Nightjars are medium-sized nocturnal birds with a long wings, short legs and very short bill.
They are mostly active in the late evening and in early morning or at night, usually nest on the ground, and feed predominantly on moths and other large flying insects.
